McLean not only shows him in a realistic situation with realistic features, but he tops that off with surrealistic watercolor textures and a sense of flight, panic and movement that cause the viewers heart to race. This looks sick, I especially like the brush strokes in the background and the texture of the dead tree in the foreground. So much cool details to look at. And thank you for the comment and advice.
